Description:
A brilliant psychologist confronts his final days in Moscow.
Moscow, 1934. As brilliant psychologist Lev Vygotsky senses his life drawing to an end, he agrees to a series of psychoanalytic sessions with Sabina Spielrein, a pioneering thinker and former associate of Freud and Jung. What begins as an attempt to understand Vygotsky’s inner world soon becomes an intense intellectual confrontation, as their radically different ideas about the human mind, childhood and desire collide. Over the course of their sessions, two extraordinary minds challenge each other’s beliefs — while confronting the deepest questions about human nature, life and death.
